Overview

As a Springboard Administrator, you're able to perform Admin tasks including:

  • Log into the Springboard Administration Dashboard
  • Onboard new staff with your Self-Registration Key
  • Enroll learners in courses
  • Monitor learner progress
  • Request additional Administrators

A designated Springboard Administrator has access not only to the learner area of Springboard, but also to the Administrator Dashboard. The Administrator Dashboard provides a set of tools to monitor learner progress in Springboard. Every organization with a Springboard subscription has select individuals that have been designated as Springboard Administrators. If you are unsure of who your Springboard Administrators are or need to assign a new Administrator, you may contact us via email at: springboard@springermiller.com.

Log In as an Administrator

Springboard Administrators have access to tools for monitoring and managing learner activity through the Springboard Administration Dashboard.

 

You will use the Learner Log In Page and then access the Admin tools

  1. Access Springboard though the same URL that learners do: https://springboard.springermiller.com
  2. Log in using your established Springboard Administrator Username and Password.
    If you have lost or forgotten your password, you may select he "Forgot Password" link on this page to reset it.

  1. Select the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the upper right corner of the Springboard homepage.
  2. Select the Admin option at the bottom of the drop-down list.

Note: If the Admin option does not appear here - you have logged in using an account that does not have Admin privileges.

 

First Look at the Springboard Administration Dashboard

The Dashboards present a summary view of recent activity with statistics. You may “drill down” to see detail on any topic link on this page.

To access the Dashboards:

  1. Select the button (left-side)
  2. Select Overview or Learners

You may select any of the "tiles" to drill down into the data they represent.

General Navigation Tips

There are generally navigation elements on the left side, right side of each screen with action and filter tools above the data in the center of each screen.

The Left-Side Navigation menu

The left-side navigation tools provide access to the major areas of the site, Dashboards, Courses, Users, and Reports. In general, when you select these items, you will jump to the new are selected and reset all current filters and actions.

The Right Side Navigation menu

The right-side navigation area will change so that it presents options for interacting with the specific data being displayed.

Actions and Filters

Actions and Filters that will work on the data displayed will appear along the top of the data area. Note that these items may "dim" or become inactive depending on what rows of data are selected (check box is checked). For example, Actions are available when single rows are selected and Mass Actions are enabled when multiple rows are selected.

Changing your Administrator and Learner Password

Your Admin and Learner Passwords are synched and can be changed any time you wish.

  1. Select the drop-down menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the upper right corner
  2. Select Edit Profile
  3. Select Change Password
  4. Enter the current password and a new password
  5. Select Update

The next time you log in, you will need to use your new password.

Requesting additional Administrators

Should you experience staffing changes we may need to name new / additional Springboard Administrators. Typically an organization will have 2 or 3 Springboard Administrators. Please contact us if you would like to establish new Springboard Administrators for your organization.
